fun fact ! alan has a lisp, but only when he speaks english. it's an "s" lisp, so if he were to say "this" in english, he would say "thith." its not too noticeable, but once you recognize its there, its hard to forget.
@𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆: alan was practically born into the beauty industry, his mom owning a salon and his aunt being a professional MUA, always toddling behind them in their work environment. ever since he was a child, he had made his dreams of being a hair colorist quite clear, loving the idea of making people happy after an appointment with him. his father despised the idea, wishing his son would want to do something a little more manly with his life, like architecture - which was what he did.
not far into alan's life, his parents split, and alan left with his mom to live in korea. he finally felt safe to be what he wanted, and swiftly pursued his cosmetology dreams, attending school in order to become a licensed hairdresser. he moved into a dorm in which three other people were living in, and discovered he had to room with a quiet and seemingly antisocial boy, which made alan iffy about the situation. a few days later though, the two had figured out they had business management together, so they decided they might as well get close. it turns out that klaus was actually alan's ideal human being, and they got along perfectly. now he just has to figure out how to get over his internalized homophobia and come out, because god damn ...
